He is a Nephrologist and Clinical Epidemiologist whose research interests include the care of patients with kidney disease, the provision of renal replacement therapies (with a focus on dialysis access), and quality of dialysis care. He received his MD in 1999 and completed specialty training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Calgary in 2004.
