Dr. Wiebe is an internationally recognized clinical researcher focusing on neurosciences and epilepsy and in evidence based medicine. He specializes in surgical randomized controlled trials, and in patient-centred outcomes. He performed the only randomized trial on brain surgery for epilepsy, which resulted in international treatment guidelines for this condition.
