Dr. Yauk is a Professor and the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Genomics and the Environment at the University of Ottawa. Her research has significantly advanced understanding of the ability of environmental chemicals to cause mutations that can lead to health effects like cancer and heritable genetic diseases. She is internationally recognized for leadership of multisector, multidisciplinary projects and consortia that have transformed human health risk assessment. Dr. Yauk dedicates her time in service to a large variety of organizations aimed at improving human health across the globe.
